Designing a Short- and Long-Form Prompt-to-Video System

Define the accepted media inputs, instruction fields, and editable short-form and long-form outputs for a prompt-to-video system.

Diagram an end-to-end pipeline from media intake through analysis, planning, Resolve timeline creation, review, and export.

Classify pipeline stages as safe to automate, requiring human approval, or requiring a manual fallback.

Define a reel’s target viewer, single message, and desired viewer action.

Distinguish a hook, setup, value beat, payoff, and loop in a successful short-form reel.

Create a beat-by-beat breakdown of a reference reel’s visuals, audio, captions, and pacing.

Specify configurable profile fields for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube long-form videos.

Set per-video cloud-cost and privacy limits that keep the workflow within a $10 monthly budget.
