Full Stack Development Workflow

Identify the responsibilities and handoffs of the full-stack developer, product owner or editor, and managed service providers across building, launching, and maintaining the news product.

Distinguish the roles of FlutterFlow, Firebase or Supabase, RSS sources, a newsletter service, analytics tools, and an advertising service in the proposed system.

Trace and compare the paths taken by an aggregated news item and an original article or review, from source or editorial entry through processing, storage, publication, and reader display.

Classify the product requirements as launch-MVP features or post-launch enhancements based on user value, dependencies, implementation risk, and operational burden.

Compare Firebase and Supabase for this product using database structure, authentication, scheduled functions, FlutterFlow integration, cost, and operational effort.

Select Firebase or Supabase using a weighted decision matrix tied to the product's requirements.

Define the conceptual data records and relationships needed for feed sources, imported articles, categories, and publication status.

Extend the conceptual data model to represent original articles, reviews, authors, and media assets.

Define the data needed to record newsletter subscribers, consent evidence, preferences, and subscription status.

Create a permissions matrix for anonymous readers, editors, administrators, and backend service functions, explaining why an email subscriber is not automatically an authenticated application role.

Sequence the foundation tasks from backend project creation and development-environment setup through schema creation, security rules, sample data, and connection to FlutterFlow.

Describe how a scheduled backend function retrieves content from six RSS feeds without relying on a reader's device.

Map inconsistent RSS fields into one standard article record.

Apply practical rules for detecting duplicate articles across repeated feed runs and overlapping sources.

Specify validation and sanitization checks for imported text, dates, images, and destination URLs.

Design a failure-handling flow using retries, logs, and alerts for unavailable or malformed feeds.

Define publication statuses and transitions for imported news, original articles, and reviews.

Specify the fields and validation rules for an editor-facing article and review form.

Assess each proposed feed for usage permission, attribution, excerpt, image, and link-back requirements.

Create an information architecture for the home page, topic feeds, article pages, reviews, newsletter signup, and administrative area.

Map the website's pages to reusable FlutterFlow components such as navigation, article cards, source labels, and signup forms.

Explain how a FlutterFlow page queries the backend and turns database records into visible article lists.

Specify filtering, sorting, pagination, loading, empty, and error states for topic feeds.

Define distinct reader experiences for aggregated link-out stories, original articles, and reviews.

Specify how layouts and navigation should adapt across desktop, tablet, and mobile screen sizes.

Define search-engine metadata and indexability rules for public pages, aggregated stories, and original content.

Evaluate key pages using a practical web-accessibility checklist.

Define the system of record for subscriber data and trace signup from a FlutterFlow form through consent capture, confirmation, and synchronization with the newsletter service, including duplicate and failure cases.

Map the subscriber lifecycle across signup, confirmation, preference changes, unsubscribe, bounce, suppression, and deletion.

Define least-privilege access and privacy-conscious retention and deletion rules for subscriber information and analytics data.

Specify the operational workflow for selecting newsletter content, preparing a template, testing links and layout, approving the issue, scheduling delivery, and reviewing results.

Create an analytics implementation and verification plan that measures readership, source referrals, newsletter conversion, and engagement with original content.

Specify advertising-service integration and placement rules that balance revenue, consent requirements, page performance, and an undistracted reading experience.

Create a high-level acceptance and integration test matrix for the product's core end-to-end workflows.

Build a dependency map that identifies the critical path and the tasks that can safely proceed in parallel.

Estimate effort and elapsed-duration ranges that account for uncertainty, integration work, external approvals, review, and rework.

Create a milestone and release sequence covering the foundation, working prototype, content-ready site, staging or launch candidate, custom-domain production release, and post-launch work.

Create a launch-readiness checklist covering content, permissions, privacy, domain setup, analytics, backups, and rollback preparation.

Define monitoring signals for feed failures, publishing errors, website availability, performance, subscriber issues, and unexpected costs.

Create a recurring operations calendar for feed review, editorial work, newsletters, analytics review, advertising checks, software updates, and backups.
